You might know that USB cables normally have a limit of five metres. Any longer than that and reliability starts to drop off due to timing problems. But what if you really want to extend your cables further than that?

We have the solution- this pair of devices extends a single USB cable using a standard network cable. Sounds strange but it works. Plug one of the supplied adaptors into either end of an RJ45 type cable (not included) and you effectively have a very long USB extender.

Supports RJ45 cables up to 100ft (30 metres) in length. Self-powered, so no external power source required.

Requires: Cat5 / Cat5e / Cat6 RJ45 (Ethernet-type) network cable (not included).
